Glimzer selected for the Financial Regulation Innovation Lab (FRIL) Innovation Call

We’re delighted to share that Glimzer has been selected to take part in the Financial Regulation Innovation Lab (FRIL) Innovation Call: Future of Wealth Advice.

This national programme, delivered by FinTech Scotland and SuperTech, brings together financial institutions, regulators and academic partners to explore the next generation of solutions aligned to the FCA’s Advice Guidance Boundary Review.

This is an important step for the industry and a big moment for us. Glimzer was created to give advisers modern tools that reduce admin, support good outcomes and make advice easier to deliver. Joining FRIL gives us the chance to collaborate directly with the organisations working to shape the future of wealth support and digital advice.

Why this matters for Glimzer

Advice firms are facing a challenging landscape. Many still rely on outdated systems, processes are time consuming, and Consumer Duty has raised expectations across every part of the customer journey. At the same time, the advice gap continues to widen, leaving thousands of people without access to clear, helpful financial guidance.

AGBR opens the door to a new approach. Firms now have the opportunity to deliver simpler, narrower scope journeys in a faster, more affordable and more consistent way. FRIL is designed to accelerate this shift by creating a space where innovation can be tested safely and shaped with input from regulators, technology leaders and industry experts.
